WAIMEA OUTDOOR CIRCLE’S
15th ANNUAL PLANT SALE
February 11, 2006, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Kuhio Hale
Waimea Outdoor Circle will hold
its 15th annual plant sale in conjunction with the Waimea Homestead
Farmers’ Market at Kuhio Hale on Saturday February 11, 2006. This is the
place to come for plants that will grow in Waimea; whether you live on
the wet or the dry side. Our vendors stay the day and are there to answer
your questions. All our vendors are knowledgeable about what grows at our
elevation and in our unique environment.
Check out the Marcia Ray
designed Cherry Blossom t-shirts and tote bags; they make wonderful
mementos or gifts. Stone washed green Ulu La’au t-shirts and large book
bags are also available. These both sport the new logo for the Waimea
Nature Park designed by board member Kadie Harris. In addition, we also
have information available about Ulu La’au, the Waimea Nature Park, of
which we are the leaseholder and developers.
Become a new member of Waimea
Outdoor Circle this day only for ˝ price. This is a great time to join
this very active group.
In addition to being the
largest plant sale in North Hawaii we are hosting a small garden craft
fair comprised of works from our membership and beyond.
Carry out service and an
express check out lane will facilitate customer’s purchases. Hours are
8:30 am-2:30 pm.
To register as a vendor, please
fill out and return the
Craft Fair Application Form.
In addition to the plant sale,
the weekly Waimea Homestead Farmers’ Market will have additional vendors
selling locally gown prepared foods so you can plan on breakfast or lunch
here; they will also have a large assortment of fresh vegetables, fruits,
herbs, cut flowers and baked goods.
